Grassroots Support...making a difference
How you can help

If you would like to volunteer to help Cat get the word out, please fill out the "Get Involved!" form (left column). We need people to help with mailings, phone calls, rallies, and fund raising events. Also, if you would put a sign in your yard that would be greatly appreciated.

Cat's Council

As with any well running organization, it is staffed with hard working dedicated people who come with a sincere drive and talents to assist in the administration and advise the leadership. Cat is looking for such talent within the 7th District who know and understand what it takes to make a difference for a community—time and a genuine regard for the welfare of others. If you would like to be a part of Cat's Council, please contact Cat and let her know how you would like to help.

Cat is looking for people in areas of economics, transportation, public welfare, safety, environment, children advocacy, senior concerns, and just a strong wiliness to help.

Thank you for your support.

Contribution Guidelines

Corporate checks are prohibited by Federal Law. Federal law requires political committees to report the name, address, occupation and employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 per calendar year.

Federal election law requires political committees to use best efforts to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 during an election cycle. An individual may not contribute more than a total of $2300 per election to the committee. Federal law prohibits contributions to the committee from the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor organizations or national banks (including corporate or other business entity credit cards), from any person contributing another's funds, from a Federal government contractor, or from a foreign national who lacks permanent resident status. Contributions are not deductible for Federal income tax purposes.

Special Projects
Give a helping hand
As with any good community leader, we all have our own special projects or initiatives that we would like to see come to fruition. I too have my share of special projects that I would like to share with you. I believe Indianapolis is on the right track to being that better community that other cities want to emulate. However, there are still a few things that we, as citizens can help. It is time to spring clean, and not just our own closets. Let us all begin with our closets and think in terms of what we can afford to share with other less fortunate and give to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. And as we go through our closets and home, don't forget your garages and yards. Let us all be good caretakers of our homes and grounds. And after we have seen to our own, look around your neighborhood and see which among you are less fortunate and offer them a helping hand. Maybe it is just some paint and lawn work that makes all the difference. The difference in how a person feels about their property and about themselves. It is a feeling of prosperity from within that elevates the communities' self awareness as a neighborhood and not just a street with strangers. Be active. Take or give a helping hand, and watch the strength of a community grow.
